Obituary

Victoria N. Price, 30, of Neshannock Township passed away suddenly on June 13, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born August 22, 1989 in New Castle, she was a daughter of Robert and Terri (Abraham) Price. Victoria was a graduate of Neshannock High School where she was the Captain of the cheerleading squad. As well as excelling in cheerleading, Victoria attended the Parou school of ballet and also the Ludovici Dance Academy where she enjoyed ballet, jazz, hip hop and modern dance. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Bio-Behavioral Health from Penn State University. She also received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Youngstown State University. While attending Penn State she was a member of the Penn State Club Cheer Team, attending the UCA college cheerleading championship. She was employed with UPMC as a Sr. Professional Staff Nurse, Intensive Care Unit and also an RN Supervisor at The Grove Nursing Home. Victoria had a love for others and enjoyed volunteering as a special education aide in both high school and college. She volunteered in fundraising for the Alzheimer's Association along with participating in the annual Alzheimer's annual walk in honor of her "Gidu" and was later employed with the Alzheimer's association while finishing her nursing degree. Victoria had four years of experience in MMA (Mixed-Martial Arts), where her flexibility and previous ballet training excelled her to a Level 4 in her passion and dedication for the sport. She also loved the art of tattooing. Victoria was an avid fan of Penn State football and loved the epic tailgates thrown by her father. In true Penn State tradition, she was the expert in flip cup and beer pong. Among her many other interests, she loved music and attending concerts, family get-togethers and treasured the family dogs. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving brother, Robert Price of Pittsburgh and Adela Moldovan Price, her "Buni." She is also survived by her loving cousins, Robby, Angie, Heather, Jenn and Tyler. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Samuel and Naomi "Sue" Abraham; paternal grandfather Robert Price, Jr.; and great-grandmother, Victoria Moldovan. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery. A gathering will be held at the home following the burial service.
