Vincent A. Anzalone, 48, of Neshannock Township, passed away after a long battle with Glioblastoma the morning of June 22, 2018 at his residence. Born January 26, 1970 in New Castle, PA, he was the son of Kathleen Harrah Anzalone and the late Anthony P. Anzalone. Vincent is survived by his wife of nearly 23 years, Lisa Montgomery Anzalone, whom he married June 24, 1995. A graduate of New Castle High School in 1988, he attended Slippery Rock University where he received his BA degrees in both English and Education and soon afterward became an English teacher at New Castle High School. Vincent was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penguins. He also enjoyed fishing, coaching his kids sports and spending time with his family. He attended St. Camillus Church. In addition to his wife, Lisa, he is survived by his four children all of New Castle; his daughters, Audrey Anzalone, Adrienne Anzalone and Alivia Anzalone, and son, Anthony Anzalone; his mother, Kathleen, of New Castle; two brothers, Anthony M. Anzalone of Florida and Edward Ted Anzalone of New Castle; one sister, Patricia Tricia Myers and her husband Dan, of Mercer, PA; a brother-in-law, Russell Smith of Mercer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Veronica Anzalone Smith. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 Tuesday morning for St. Camillus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Michael Peck will be officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his family, or to Relay for Life, Team InVINCEable.
