Virginia E. "Betty" Gordon Eve, 91, of Shenango Presbyterian SeniorCare, New Wilmington, died the morning of May 14, 2011 at her residence.Born October 17, 1919 in New Castle, she was a daughter of John H. Templeton and Lillian M. delPierre Templeton. She married Donald Gordon on November 18, 1942. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1992. She then married Andrew F. Eve on April 10, 1999. He also preceded her in death.She was employed by the former Shenango Pottery in New Castle as a secretary.Betty was a member of the Eastern Star #105 and the White Shrine. She was a former member of Shenango Christian Church.She is survived by one sister, Maxine L. Gill of Kalamazoo, MI.In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was preceded in death by one infant son; one brother, Rev. John Templeton; and one sister, Marilynn L. Fisher.A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at the Shenango Presbyterian SeniorCare in the Community Room. Rev. Amy Na will officiate.
