Wade E. Bissett, 52, of Union Township passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 in Rochester Pa. Born August 5, 1962, he was the son of George and Aurelia Andrusky Bisset of Edinburg. Wade was a 1980 graduate of Mohawk High school and worked as a truck driver for 23 years for E.D. Fee Transfer. Wade was a hugh NASCAR fan and enjoyed both hunting and camping but most of all adored his grandchildren. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Edinburg. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Joann Burk Bissett; one daughter Erin Bissett of New Castle; three sons, Wade E. Bissett Jr. and his fiancee, Chelsea Eckman of New Castle, Steven Bissett and his fiancee Kayla Hoffman of Pulaski and Brent Bissett of New Castle; one brother, George Bissett of New Castle; and three grandchildren, Wesley, Jayce and Natalie. He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents in addition to his mother-in-law, Florence Burk. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. James Hockenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
