William 'Bill' Patrick Hanna, age 73, of Shenango Twp., passed away the morning of April 16, 2025, in New Castle, PA.

Born Dec. 5, 1951, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late William E. and Ruth (Hall) Hanna.

On April 3, 1976, he married his beloved wife, of 49 years, Connie (Caldwell) Hanna. She survives at home.

Bill was a Shenango High School graduate. Following his marriage to Connie, they moved to California where Bill attended Drama classes at Cerritos College. Bill then enjoyed his career in professional acting. Later in life, he worked as a route driver, employed by the Pepsi-Cola Company, until his retirement. Bill enjoyed classic cars, old movies, and music.

Survivors include brother-in-law Gary Caldwell of Layton, UT; sisters-in-law Carol Fox and Melody Bloom both of Butler, PA and Maria Caldwell of Beaver Falls, PA; nephews Robert A. Fox of Butler, PA, John Paul Caldwell of Beaver Falls, PA and Jason Caldwell of Layton, UT; nieces, Jessica Caldwell-Flanagan of Beaver Falls, PA, Cristan Caldwell-Peters of Surprise, AZ and April Hanna-Hempl of Butler, PA; two great nieces, Anna and Mia Flanagan as well as two great nephews John Primo and Skylar Caldwell.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia L. Olsen of Boardman, OH and one brother, Michael Hanna of Brookville, PA.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor John Coomber officiating.

Burial will take place at Oak Park cemetery alongside his mother.
