William Douglas LeFebvre, age 69, of New Castle, passed away the night of December 25, 2022, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Born August 2, 1953, in New Castle, he was the son of William A. LeFebvre and Hazel (Currie) Allison who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Janice (DoVidio) LeFebvre, whom he married June 17, 1988.

A 1972 graduate of Shenango High School, Doug obtained his CDL license and was employed as a driver for Cade Paving.

In addition to cooking, he enjoyed being outdoors doing yardwork, gardening and golfing. Doug will always be remembered for his gift of gab and his willingness to help others. What he valued most were the times spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Janice; two daughters, Kendra (Jeff) Allay of New Castle and Emily (Matt) Bishop of North Carolina; one son, Ethan Douglas LeFebvre of New Castle; one sister, Barb (Roger) Monsour of North Carolina; one brother, Keith (Marsha) LeFebvre of New Castle; one granddaughter, Audrey Bishop; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation Thursday at 6:00 with Pastor Ron Nagel officiating.
