William Edward Lord, age 69 of New Castle, PA, formerly of Smethport, PA, passed away the evening of Dec. 2, 2023, at Edison Manor.

Born Nov. 2, 1954, in Mineral Wells, TX, he was the son of the late Delbert Clyde and Belva B. (Childs) Lord.

Bill was a graduate of Smethport High School. He went on to further his education at the University of Pitt Bradford where he earned his associate degree. For 34 years, he was employed by Ethan Allen - Eldred Division, as a supervisor. He volunteered for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and at the McKean County Fair, selling raffle tickets for 40 years. Bill enjoyed watching baseball and Nascar as well as being a foster parent. He was a member of the Masons, Portville Lodge and previously attended East Smethport Christian Church.

He is survived by one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Lord of Valencia, PA.

In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or services.
