William Brian Pinkerton, 47, of Cecil Ave., New Castle, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at his parents' residence in New Castle.Born December 14, 1966, in Farrell, he was a son of Arwood and Sylvia Weaver Pinkerton of New Castle.Brian was a 1985 graduate of Union High School and a 2014 graduate of the New Castle School of Trades, where he graduated with honors in welding.Brian worked as a steel worker for WCI Steel for 26 years.He was a life member of the NRA, a life member of North American Hunter and a member of the Shenango Fishing and Hunting Club. Brian loved the outdoors.In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by a daughter, Justine Pinkerton; and a son, William Pinkerton, both of Cortland, OH; two brothers, Eric and Keith (Lori) Pinkerton, both of New Castle; and his girlfriend of seven years, Sherry Strickler of New Castle. He is also survived by six nephews and a niece.Brian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Justine and Lawrence Weaver; and his paternal grandparents, Arwood and Hazel Pinkerton.Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at the funeral home with the Rev.
