William J. Semler, age 59, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of March 26, 2023, at his residence in Neshannock Township.

Born in New Castle on August 30, 1963, he was the son of the late William J. Semler and Ramona (McConahy) Semler, with whom he made his home.

Mr. Semler was a 1981 graduate of Neshannock High School and the owner of the former Semler News Agency of New Castle.

Among his interests, William enjoyed collectibles, especially military paraphernalia. He loved several movie series including Rocky, James Bond and the Godfather.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother, Robert C. Semler of New Castle.

In keeping with the families wishes, a service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
