William Paul Stiver, age 92, of New Castle, PA, passed away the evening of Oct. 23, 2026, at his home.

Born Sept. 18, 1934, in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late William Franklin and Ethel Erma (Lower) Stiver.

He married the love of his life, Dolly E. Oliphant, on July 14, 1956. Mrs. Stiver preceded him in death.

Bill was a graduate of New Castle High School. For several years, he worked at Penn Power, until his retirement.

Survivors include his children, Richard Stiver, Jeff (Jodi) Stiver, and Cindy (Shawn) Hackett, all of New Castle, PA; one grandchild, Tyler (Tori) Stiver; and his half-brother, Russell Gilbert.

In keeping with his wishes private services were held at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
