Winifred Davis, 91, of Franciscan Manor, Beaver Falls, PA, formerly of New Castle, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. She was born February 1, 1924, to Charles Thomas and Mary Lewis Mann. She was married to John W. Davis for 70 years. He preceded her in death. Winifred was a life member of the Gymanfa Ganu and the St. David's Society of Pittsburgh and an avid reader. Winifred is survived by six children; Richard Davis of New Castle, Barbara (Joseph) Macri of Pittsburgh, Jack (Cindy) Davis of Ohio, Brian (Leslie) Davis of Florida, Charles (Candi) Davis of Ohio, and Greg Davis of New Castle; two sisters, Betty Yachym and Blodwen Brown of New Castle; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road on Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
