Young Benincase, age 70, of New Castle, passed away the evening of September 13, 2026, after a long courageous battle with cancer, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born June 1, 1956, in Seoul, South Korea, she was the daughter of the late Sedong Kim and Byongsoon Lee.

Young was in retail management for several years. She then started a prosperous career with Citizen’s Bank, working in sales. Young loved shopping, crafts, traveling and her family. She attended Grace United Methodist Ministry.

She is survived by her fiancé Robert Montgomery, one daughter, one brother, Si-Hyun Kim (Sang Bae Park), one sister, Mi-jeong Kim, two nephews, Minjun Kim and Minjae Kim, and one grandchild, Timothy Locke.

Visitation will be held on Sat. Sept. 19th from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Grace United Methodist Ministry, 135 Decker Drive, New Castle, PA, 16105.

A funeral service will take place immediately after visitation, at 5:00 PM, at the church, with Pastor John Balliet officiating.

Entombment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
