Yvonne Coleman, 74, a resident of New Castle, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 18, 2021. She was born in Renovo, PA, on October 7, 1946 to Harold C. and George Ann (Gonyea) Palmer. Yvonne was looking forward to meeting up again with her sweet husband, Milton Coleman, who passed away on Oct. 28, 1993. A loving mother, grand-mother, and a special friend, she enjoyed the following hobbies: making floral arrangements, painting ceramics, reading, watching under-cover detective shows, and recycling garbage. She cherished the times she spent with her friends and family and was very excited about becoming a great-grandmother. She is survived by her son Roy (Melissa) Lee, and her daughter Yvonne (Kenny) Allen; four grandchildren, Latasha and Jarod Butler, Isabella Allen, and Nicole Lee; four great-grandchildren, Jordan Aidoo, Cayden Phillips and Juliana and Jay Butler. In addition to her parents and husband, Yvonne was preceded in death by one daughter, one grandchild and her son, Ray Lee. The family would like to thank The Haven Nursing Home, and their staff, for the loving care they gave to Yvonne while she was there.
