Zoyie M. Shevitz, 22, of Lowellville, Ohio, passed away the evening of May 3, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born December 14, 1992 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of Andrew M. Shevitz and Kimberly M. Kerr Kennedy. Zoyie was a 2012 graduate of New Castle High School and a previous member of Mary, Mother of Hope. She enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting and gardening. She also loved motorcycles and time at the beach. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Andrew J. Shevitz and a sister, Tara E. Shevitz, both of New Castle; and her maternal grandmother, Ethel French of Bay St. Louis, MISS. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Andy and Mary Ellen Shevitz, and maternal grandfather, Joe French. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle. A Blessing Service will take place immediately following visitation Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
